The short version: We collect the bare minimum needed to give you your reading. Your palm photos are deleted immediately after we generate your reading. We don't sell, share, or use your data for marketing.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to Astroved ("we", "us", "our"), the website and service that provides AI-powered palm readings. By using our service, you agree to the practices described below.
2. What information we collect
Information you give us
- Palm photos — the images you upload or capture to receive a reading. These are used temporarily to generate your reading and are not stored permanently in the current flow.
- Personal details — when you start a reading, we ask for your full name, date of birth, email address, and phone number. These are required so we can personalize your reading and contact you about it if needed.
- Consent — you confirm via a checkbox that you agree to share these details and your palm image with us for the purpose of generating your reading.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
- Contact information — if you reach out via our contact form or email, we receive your name, email, and message.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data like your IP address, browser type, and pages visited — used to keep the site running and prevent abuse.
- We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
- To generate and deliver your palm reading
- To process your payment
- To respond to your support requests
- To investigate and prevent fraud or abuse of the service
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or advertising. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
4. How long we keep your data
Palm photos
Deleted immediately after your reading is generated. They are not retained on our servers and are not used for any purpose other than producing your reading.
Reading text
Not retained on our servers. Once the reading is shown to you, it lives only in your browser. We recommend saving it as a PDF before you close the tab.
Personal details (name, DOB, email, phone)
In the current flow these are submitted with each reading request and used only to personalize that reading and respond to support enquiries. They are not stored permanently in any database in the current setup. If we add long-term storage in future (e.g. to email you readings or send updates), this policy will be updated and you will be notified.
Payment records
Transaction records (payment ID, amount, date — not card details) are retained for accounting and tax purposes as required by law, typically 7 years.
Contact form submissions
Kept until your query is resolved, then archived for a reasonable period in case you reach out again.
5. Third parties we work with
To provide the service, we share limited information with the following:
- AI provider (OpenAI) — your palm photos, your first name, and your date of birth are sent to OpenAI to generate and personalize your reading. Your email address and phone number are never sent to OpenAI. Per OpenAI's data policy, data submitted via API is not used to train their models.
- Payment provider — handles your payment securely. We never see your full card details.
- Hosting provider — the servers that run our website.
We share only what's strictly necessary for each provider to do its job.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask us what data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (where we still hold any)
- Object to certain types of processing

7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data — encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure payment processing, and immediate deletion of uploaded images. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
8. Children's privacy
Astroved is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
